Central Power & Control Ltd is a rapidly expanding electrical contracting company based in Wanaka, Central Otago.  We have a team of highly experienced and qualified electricians and automation engineers specialising in the industrial and agricultural fields servicing Central Otago and the greater Otago region.

Our primary focus is providing resourceful and reliable installations of an industrial standard to our customers in the farming/agricultural and heavy industries.  We offer a no-obligation consultation to discuss your operation.  We can also come on site to ensure you are getting the most out of your current systems and machinery and can work with you to achieve greater efficiency.

We are a locally owned and operated company directed by Matt Taylor and Jeff Pierce, both of whom have been involved in heavy industrial electrical projects for most of their careers.

Matt Taylor – Director : After Matt completed his apprenticeship with Oceana Gold in 2001 he then went on to work as a maintenance electrician at Macraes Mine before establishing Central Power & Control Ltd in 2003.

Jeff Pierce – Director : Jeff completed his electrical apprenticeship in 2002 after working with Industrial Controls and Fonterra in South Canterbury.  Jeff then worked as a maintenance electrician for four years at Fonterra’s Clandeboye dairy factory.  Jeff became a partner of Central Power & Control Ltd in 2006.
